So there is something that I have been wanting to do for a long time, and tonight I finally bit the bullet and did it. Yup, I shaved my head completely bald. Bic'd (Bicced / Bicked?) it. My hair grows fast enough that it should be back to normal by the time that we head to Ohio. Anything on your own bucket lists you'd like to share?
Anywho--here's where we started:
Whoops. I mean
here is where we started:
Here's halfway through the first buzz with the clippers (my potential stopping point for next time?), and channeling my warrior spirit in the second:
And here it is all finished:

A ha ha ha ha!!! Your nekked head!!! It actually doesn't look as bad as I thought it would! :) I sure love you, Brahdley.
I think I like you with hair better. Are you going to "maintain" the look or let it grow now?
My bucket list includes...I'd like to get married and have some kids. I don't know if I can get that one checked off though. I haven't had much luck in the relationship area.
Bug: I was worried about that, too. Fortunately it turned out pretty ok. I'm glad I don't have an alien head.
Julie: I may shave it again after a week or so, then probably let it grow back out so that it's back to normal by the time we move to Columbus. We're waiting for kids, too--sometimes things don't happen in our time frame. So it's a good time to focus on other bucket list items (like shaving your head).
bald is the only way to go man. looks good
I also like the new look of your blog! It's quite the time for you, is it not? haha. :) The tan line's pretty fabulous on your head, btw. Lub you!
wow! I'm all about fulfilling bucket lists. :) that's awesome. You're lucky to have a good head shape to pull it off. Remember: you're going to need sunscreen on that melon! It will burn easily and like crazy.
The hald-way picture is great. Don't forgot to use some sunblock if you stay out for a long time.
Fun and different look--but keep the hair while you know you've got it!!
That's a lot of skin Brad. White skin. White. Skin. Battlestar Gallactica.
Ha ha ha! I love it. Agreed, you do have a very nice head shape. Maybe I should work on my bucketlist. Yes, I think I will. You are inspirational!
Wow, you look so different, good but different. I have to say you have a different bucket list than I do. :) Don't forget to buff that shine before leaving the house!
I need to come up with a bucket list, it's a good idea. Love ya!
Nice work fulfilling the a piece of the bucket list. I need to work on mine. Hopefully Jess will have fun rubbing that head while the hair is just starting to grow back. It feels so cool at that point.
Question: Do you still use shampoo or just soap all the way now?
I just use a dime-sized amount of shampoo, mostly because I have a funky patch of skin on my scalp that needs special shampoo. I think it might be seborrheic dermatitis. TMI?
I used to say, "Don't go there" but that's just lame.
I thought bald was good, but the half way mark really seemed to do you justice.
Bucket list: wrestle/fight with bare hands a dominate male hippopotamus, walrus, or bear thereby becoming the alpha male/beachmaster/king of the bears and realize my destiny.
Bob, I think your bucket list tops anyone else's. Congratulations--you win.
Thanks, Brad. My overarching goal has always been to win. Now I can sleep at night knowing that my bucket list could beat up your bucket list. Theoretically speaking, of course. I mean, if bucket lists were physical entities with the ability and disposition to fight. ...Maybe if they had arms and were pitted against each other in a cage fight.
Then again, if they had arms, maybe our particular bucket lists would chose to shake hands and exchange high fives and become good friends. I could see that happening too.
Brad, I am reminded by you of many other great bald heads...Captain Picard, Patrick Stewart, and Professor X just to name a few.
